This session is intended for those that have some experience with MySQL Cluster and want to attain MySQL Certification (CMCDBA) for their skills. Unexperienced users can also attend to get an overview of the scope of the MySQL 5.1 Cluster certification exam.

Some general considerations concerning the MySQL Certification process will be discussed, such as signing up for certification, taking the certification exam, and receiving the certificate.

The benefits of getting certified will be discussed, and information will be given about the materials that are available for preparation, such as the MySQL 5.1 Cluster Certification Study Guide and MySQL Training Courses.

The talk will focus mainly on describing the topics that make up the certification exam. After the talk there will be time for Questions and Answers. There will also be some materials available for inspection such as the study guide, a training course reader, and some sample exam questions.
